THE GUILD THEATRE
MENLO PARK, CALIFORNIA
Let's Go Bowling is an American third wave ska band from Fresno, California, formed in 1986. Renato had a lot of fun picking out the music and was thrilled to lock down a classic ska band featuring horns!
SKA MUSIC
OUT OF TOWNERS
If you are traveling to the Bay Area for the party, we recommend staying at the Courtyard Marriott San Mateo Foster City ($130-$150/night) which is central to our house, the airport, and the venue. There are hotels closer to the Guild, but it is Stanford grad weekend and they are very pricey!
Fun cocktail attire: dress to impress, but choose your shoes wisely! You won't be able to resist skanking the night away.
DRESS TO DANCE
For those coming in from out of town, we will arrange a shuttle bus from the Courtyard Marriott. Please indicate on the RSVP if you are planning to take the shuttle.
TRANSPORTATION
NO GIFTS PLEASE
Renato really doesn't need anything. Please consider making a donation to one of Renato's favorite causes instead:
Second Harvest of Silicon Valley: End hunger by distributing nutritious food across the Bay Area.
WE HOPE TO
SEE YOU THERE!
WHAT'S THE SCHEDULE?
Doors open at 7, the band will come on around 8pm. Last call at 11pm and we’ll plan to send the shuttle back to the hotel around 11:30.
WILL THERE BE FOOD?
Of course! We are planning heavy passed appetizers, including a few of Renato’s favorites.
AND DRINKS?
Of course! We'll have a full bar, including signature cocktails and mocktails honoring the birthday guy.
WILL THERE BE A CHANCE TO TOAST THE BIG GUY?
We are planning to have a few tributes midway through the night. If you are interested in sharing a story or favorite Renato memory, please reach out to Lauri at lfloresca@gmail.com
ARE KIDS ALLOWED?
Sure, but you're in charge of them.
IS THERE PARKING?
No dedicated parking at the Guild, but street parking in the area is not difficult. But why bother? We strongly suggest Uber/Lyft to avoid the hassle.
